Oraquel possesses proprietary Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology that enables the direct capture of CO2 from the atmosphere. At the same time, this technology allows for the easy and cost-effective storage of the captured carbon dioxide. Oraquel reactors utilize patented filters containing a sorbent blend composed of eight natural absorbing and adsorbing substances.
The composition of the sorbent mixture in Oraquel filters is a proprietary invention. CO2-capturing reactors typically consume vast amounts of electricity; therefore, we have designed our reactors to operate using renewable energy sources, such as water and solar power.
Atmospheric CO2 concentrations vary by location; mobile DAC reactors can capture CO2 specifically in areas with the highest concentrations. Oraquel reactors can be installed anywhere on Earth without the burden of excessive bureaucracy.
Oraquel possesses technology for the safe and low-cost storage of captured carbon dioxide, ensuring that the stored CO2 cannot be released back into the atmosphere for centuries. Why do we need direct air capture of CO2? To address the climate challenge, we must both drastically reduce current emissions and remove legacy CO2 emissions from the air. To permanently remove the captured CO2, we combine our absorption technology with renewable energy. Our approach is based on a modular technological structure, making access to our systems simple and scalable.
